About the Role:

Anaplan is seeking a Senior IT Technical Program Manager to join the This role serves as a delivery lead across IT programs and initiatives, including Enterprise Applications, the AI Readiness Program, and other strategic workstreams. The TPM will work across IT functions as needed, owning end-to-end program delivery and driving cross-functional alignment from intake through implementation.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in enterprise IT project delivery, a structured approach to stakeholder management, and the ability to operate across both strategic planning and hands-on execution. This person will collaborate closely with IT leadership, Communications, Finance, and People teams, and will be expected to drive clarity, accountability, and momentum across complex, multi-workstream programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise AI Initiatives

  • Serve as the primary project manager for Enterprise AI Initiatives, coordinating workstreams across IT, Communications, Finance Transformation, and People functions to ensure structured, governed delivery from intake through implementation
  • Maintain comprehensive program plans, RAID logs, decision registers, and status reporting cadences across all active AI workstreams
  • Facilitate cross-functional working sessions, track action items, and ensure milestones are met on time and within scope across concurrent AI use case deliveries
  • Ensure Enterprise AI Initiatives, including the AI Readiness Program, follow established intake, scoring, and governance processes covering use case prioritization, approval workflows, and lifecycle management
  • Coordinate AI use case teams across Technical Leads, Change Management representatives, and Financial Flexibility Leads to drive accountability and progress at the workstream level
  • Track and report on AI initiative performance metrics including adoption, productivity impact, and value realization in support of enterprise savings targets
  • Surface blockers, escalate risks, and drive resolution across program stakeholders to maintain delivery momentum
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives for AI initiative workstreams, ensuring consistent cadence and iterative progress toward delivery milestones

IT Project Portfolio Management

  • Manage a portfolio of IT initiatives spanning Enterprise Applications, employee-facing technology, support model improvements, and digital workplace enhancements across the IT organization
  • Define project scope, success criteria, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with IT leadership
  • Coordinate with platform owners, vendors, and internal teams to ensure delivery alignment across all active workstreams
  • Maintain a consolidated view of portfolio health, surfacing dependencies and conflicts proactively

Governance and Reporting

  • Produce executive-ready project status updates, steering committee materials, and program dashboards
  • Ensure projects adhere to established intake, scoring, and lifecycle governance processes, applying AI Readiness Program standards to applicable Enterprise AI workstreams
  • Maintain documentation standards across all managed initiatives, including project charters, decision logs, and closure reports
  • Deliver structured stakeholder communications on a recurring cadence: weekly status updates for active workstreams, monthly program summaries for IT leadership, and quarterly reviews for executive and cross-functional stakeholders

Stakeholder and Change Management

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across IT, business functions, and external vendors
  • Support change management activities including communications planning, training coordination, and adoption tracking in partnership with the People and Communications teams
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for project stakeholders, proactively managing expectations and ensuring alignment at every phase

Qualifications:

Required

  • 6 to 9 years of experience in technical project management within an enterprise IT environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional programs with multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Strong command of Agile and sprint-based delivery methodologies, with hands-on experience running sprint ceremonies and managing iterative delivery cycles alongside Waterfall or hybrid approaches
  • Proficiency with project and work management platforms such as ServiceNow, Wrike, Jira, or equivalent
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience producing materials for senior and executive audiences
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity, navigate organizational complexity, and maintain delivery momentum without direct authority
  • Ability to work in a hybrid, globally distributed team environment with availability to maintain core working hour overlap through at least 12:00 PM EST to support cross-regional collaboration

Preferred

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification
  • Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks, particularly ServiceNow
  • Exposure to AI program governance, adoption tracking, or enterprise AI rollouts
  • Experience supporting change management or internal communications workstreams as part of broader program delivery
  • Prior experience in a SaaS, technology, or high-growth enterprise environment

What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days:

  • Full ownership of the Enterprise AI Initiatives project portfolio, with status reporting cadence established, governance applied, and key stakeholders aligned
  • Clear portfolio view of all active IT initiatives across functions, with risks and dependencies documented
  • Relationships established with key cross-functional partners across IT, Communications, Finance, and People
  • Governance and documentation standards applied consistently across managed workstreams
