About the team
Program Management is our secret sauce for delivering business growth. We believe in cross-functional collaboration as the enabler of high performance.
As a Senior Program Manager, you'll serve as a crucial individual contributor, independently orchestrating complex programs or several high-priority cross-functional programs with exceptional self sufficiency. You will drive programs forward by determining the right questions to ask, engaging key stakeholders, and developing the integrated plan needed to achieve the consistent, high-quality results required to achieve the program’s strategic outcome.
Leveraging your strong analytical and cross-functional expertise, you are skilled at providing solid ad hoc analysis and expertly translating complex subjects into simple, actionable language. You take ownership of undefined work, filling crucial gaps and unblocking progress by tackling "odd jobs." You are the dedicated strategic partner to the Program Lead (usually a product or business leader), committed to maintaining program momentum across all phases.
Program Management collaborates closely with Product Management, Operations, Marketing, Analytics, Technology, Data Science, and UX, enabling agile teams to strategize, plan, and deliver at scale to achieve our desired outcomes. Comfortable working across all disciplines, you’ll ensure transparency of reporting & performance monitoring, simplicity of policy & process design, and quality assurance on execution. Leveraging tools like Confluence, Jira, Looker, and Salesforce, you’ll ensure clear communication of changes and simplify the integration of those changes into business-as-usual operations.
What you’ll do
- Driving complex and/or multiple cross-functional business initiatives (Programs) effectively and efficiently such that they achieve their strategic outcome/s. This is a senior individual contributor role, requiring you to manage these initiatives with high independence.
- Act as the "catch all" strategic partner, proactively identifying and removing impediments, which may include providing essential support by addressing undefined tasks that have no natural owner within the program structure.
- Facilitate evidence-based decision-making by engaging in impartial dialogue and presenting objective data to drive the program forward.
- Expertly manage stakeholder engagement, ensuring the right people are involved at the right time, and translating complex technical topics into simple, actionable language for all audiences.
- Synchronizing the opportunities that are part of the Program to achieve desired outcomes, including gathering inputs and requirements, defining milestones and success criteria, and proficiently applying core program management skills.
- Designing new business policies, processes, and campaigns, ensuring quality execution in alignment with our mission, brand, and values.
- Creating Alignment Documents, operational plans, business policies, operational processes, and other essential documentation.
- Mentor and coach the work of less experienced program management professionals, where applicable, to elevate overall team capability and knowledge.
Who you are
- Proven track record (5+ years) of successfully defining, planning, and delivering complex, cross-functional programs that resulted in measurable business growth.
- 5+ years of experience in technology companies.
- 5+ years experience in supporting cross-functional business operations, or equivalent experience as a Product Management professional.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and teams without direct authority, driving alignment and execution through clear communication and strategic partnership.
- Exceptional executive communication skills, including the proven ability to write and present compelling narratives and facilitate complex dialogue with senior leaders and executives.
- Experience in a combination of the following: Program Management; Continuous Improvement; Business/Sales Operations; Product Management; Management Consulting with technology industry experience; or Technical Program Management.
- Experience in independently leading all phases of a business initiative, including identification of the business problem, development of business cases and project plans, and subsequent delivery through to benefits realisation.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with a flexible approach to program management, iterating and adapting that approach when necessary.
- Objective & evidence-based mindset and ability to operate within an evidence-based organisation.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and a bonus for Looker, Salesforce, and Iterable.
- Certification in SAFe, Prince 2, Scrum, Lean/Six Sigma or similar a plus.
- Fluency in English.
