As a Client Partner, you'll drive a multimillion-dollar portfolio while championing client success from initial engagement to long-term value creation. You'll architect AI solutions that transform how global organizations leverage their data, build high-performing teams, and forge C-suite relationships to scale our GenAI consulting business. The ideal candidate blends business acumen with AI expertise to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Client Engagements. Hold full P&L accountability — revenue, margin, utilization, and pipeline — for an assigned client portfolio, typically generating $5–20M in annual services revenue.
Drive growth. Lead the entire sales cycle by identifying whitespace, crafting deal strategy, negotiating contracts, and closing new, renewal, and expansion deals to meet or exceed annual quota.
Build C-suite relationships. Cultivate trusted-advisor status with CIO/CMO/COO-level executives; translate their strategic objectives into GenAI roadmaps.
Lead Strategic Governance. Create multi-year account plans, quarterly business reviews, and risk/issue logs; partner with delivery leads to ensure on-time, on-budget projects and top-quartile client-satisfaction scores.
Thought leadership. Bring forward-looking POVs on GenAI, LLMs, and intelligent automation; publish insights, speak at industry events, and influence AnswerRocket IP investment.
Team & talent management. Lead and mentor cross-functional consulting teams; manage staffing mix, coach career growth, and foster an inclusive, high-performance culture.
Alliances & ecosystem. Leverage technology partners (cloud, data-platform, AI) to co-sell integrated solutions and accelerate client outcomes.
Required Qualifications
12+ years in management consulting / professional services, including 5+ years owning account P&L or quota ≥ $5M.
Proven record of closing complex analytics/data/AI deals and expanding enterprise accounts.
Deep understanding of GenAI, analytics, and modern cloud data stacks; able to translate technical capabilities into business value.
Demonstrated success building C-level relationships and influencing digital-transformation agendas.Experience leading distributed consulting teams and governing multiple concurrent projects.
Exceptional communication, financial acumen, and negotiation skills.
Experience building and activating strategic technology partnerships (cloud, data platforms, AI) to co-sell solutions and accelerate client outcomes.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
Proven leadership skills with a willingness to travel 50% or more as needed for client engagements, prospect meetings, industry conferences, internal team gatherings, and related business needs.
Preferred Experience
Background at a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., Deloitte, EY, Accenture, Slalom, Publicis, etc.)
Domain expertise in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or other data-rich industries.
Track record of developing alliance-based GTM strategies with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) or AI platforms
Familiarity with data-visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI) and MLOps best practices.
