We are currently seeking to add an Associate or Principal Geologist, or Environmental Engineer to our dynamic team in the Seattle Metro Area.
We are looking for an experienced geologist or professional engineer, with registration, that has developed an extensive range of site characterization, investigation, and remediation experience for upland and waterfront sites. This is a growth position that will aid in the expansion of our regional environmental practice. Experience developing and maintaining effective client relationships is a must. Equally important is your experience communicating key technical concepts to regulators, stakeholders, and teaming partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
· BA/BS degree (MS preferred) geology, hydrogeology, environmental engineering, or a similar discipline from an accredited institution.
· Registration as a Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist in Washington
· Minimum 15 to 20 years of environmental consulting experience in increasing responsibility positions.
· Regional business development experience in the areas of site characterization, environmental due diligence, remediation, environmental compliance and related disciplines.
· Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and obtaining successful regulatory outcomes for investigation and cleanup projects with varying degrees of complexity and/or overall scope.
· Ability to understand and apply financial performance metrics and risk management procedures.
· Strong writing capabilities for proposals to clients, and technical reports to regulating agencies.
· Commitment to safety and understanding State and Federal health and safety requirements.
· Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 annually depending on experience.

The Puget Sound Division of Apex is a full-service engineering and environmental consulting business. In addition to environmental services, our regional team also includes civil, structural, geotechnical, and stormwater engineers, as well as survey, industrial hygiene, and natural resources professionals. You will have a full range of comprehensive and multi-disciplinary technical support to develop new business and deliver for our clients.. In this role, your key objectives will be expanding growth of our regional environmental practice, managing client relations and senior level support in the delivery of direct projects.
