Position Overview:

Apex Aesthetics Nurse Practitioners are responsible for performing a variety of aesthetic treatments including but not limited to Chemical peels, Cool Sculpting, Microneedle, and injections.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintains patient/client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company policy
  • Administers treatments in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Able to perform a variety of aesthetic treatments including, but not limited to chemical peels, CoolSculpting, micro needling, and injections.
  • Recommends various treatments and skin regimens based on patient consultation
  • Pursue opportunities to educate patients on additional treatments and services
  • Educate patients on all treatment processes including pre and post treatment care guidelines
  • Detailed in their charting and clinical documentation of each patient 
  • Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances quality of service and care offered to patients
  • Maintains a professional and neat appearance that adheres to the company dress code
  • Attends in house trainings and assists with company cosmetic events
  • Assists with maintaining appropriate inventory levels and notifies management when inventory is low
  • Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms in between each patient
  • Establish and maintain rapport with patients in order to ensure patient satisfaction
  • Assists with clinical procedures as needed.
  • Ensure safety of patients at all times when performing treatments

Qualifications:

  • Maintains current state of Ohio Nurse Practitioner licensing
  • Must have prior cosmetic injectable experience 1-2 years preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of various aesthetic services and skin care products
  • Must have sound judgement, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills, be highly organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong knowledge of current trends and aesthetic treatments
  • Proven Sales Experience
  • Proficient with personal computers and contemporary software programs (MS office, excel, etc.)
  • Must maintain yearly Continued Education and stay current on product lines & services.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Prolonged periods of sitting with periodic standing and walking
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for documentation, computer entry, and clinical procedures
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 30 pounds
  • Visual acuity sufficient to review medical records, lab data, and electronic systems
  • Work is performed in a clinical research environment with direct patient interaction
  • Exposure to biological specimens, laboratory equipment, and clinical testing materials
  • Requires strict adherence to IRB, GCP, HIPAA, OSHA, and Apex safety standards
  • May require multitasking in a deadline-driven research setting
