Senior Manager, G&A Business Systems
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, G&A Business Systems to support our growing Finance, HR, and Legal teams. This role will focus on managing and optimizing a variety of G&A technology systems in a clinical-stage biotechnology environment. You will partner closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure our systems are effectively supporting their functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in G&A business processes and experience with industry-standard tools for finance, HR, and legal management. Additionally, you will lead strategic planning, implementation, and management of G&A systems, ensuring seamless and compliant application management throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership and Support
- Serve as a strategic partner for Finance, HR, and Legal teams, supporting their technology needs and business goals.
- Ensure SOX compliance requirements are met, including oversight of change management, account management, and documentation to support audits.
- Oversee vendor relationships and manage external implementation partners as needed.
- System Management and Optimization
- Manage and optimize G&A systems such as ERP, financial planning tools, HRIS, payroll, CLM, ATS, and equity management systems.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all G&A systems.
- Proactively identify and address performance or security issues to maintain data integrity and system reliability.
- Business Analysis and Implementation
- Lead business analysis, solution design, and system implementation projects for G&A systems.
- Drive requirements gathering and documentation for new features, configurations, and enhancements.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Evaluate current processes and implement best practices to support scalability during growth phases.
- Integration Leadership
- Lead integration efforts with GxP systems using tools like middleware integration platforms.
- Ensure data flows seamlessly between systems, leveraging the latest features and updates.
- Collaborate with external vendors and implementation partners to optimize system functionality.
- Evaluate and implement integration solutions that enhance scalability and efficiency as the company expands.
- Project Management Excellence
- Demonstrate strong project management skills to lead and oversee multiple G&A projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Implement effective change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
- Lead efforts to provide regular training and support to system users, ensuring efficient use of G&A systems.
- Build cross-functional relationships to ensure IT alignment with business needs during scaling initiatives.
Ideal Candidate
- 6+ years of experience in business analysis, system management, or similar roles in a biotech or life sciences environment.
- Proven experience partnering with Finance, HR, and Legal teams on their technology implementations.
- Strong understanding of SOX compliance requirements, including change management, account management, and documentation. Experience implementing and managing SOX-compliant change management processes for G&A systems.
- Hands-on experience with ERP, HRIS, CLM, payroll, ATS, and financial planning tools (experience with systems like NetSuite, Adaptive, Agiloft, etc., is a plus).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills with a growth mindset, dedicated to promoting a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to travel appropriately 10 – 15%
The anticipated salary range for candidates for this role will be $160,000-$190,000. The final salary offered will depend on several factors, which may include, but is not limited to relevant years of experience, educational background, and geography.
