Position Overview:
We’re looking for a strategic, content-savvy Paid Social Manager to lead Apollo’s mid-funnel demand generation efforts through Meta. This role is designed for someone who knows how to turn paid social into a high-leverage content distribution channel that helps build pipeline rather than just capturing leads.
You will manage and scale paid social programs that deliver strong engagement, warm up our ideal customer profile (ICP), and support multi-touch buying journeys. The ideal candidate has a strong B2B marketing background and knows how to turn brand, product, and thought leadership content into effective paid campaigns that educate and influence.
What You’ll Do:
Paid Social Campaign Management (Meta):
- Own the strategy and execution of Meta ad campaigns, focused on distributing content that educates and engages our target audience.
- Work closely with content, product marketing, and design teams to turn blogs, webinars, case studies, and product content into compelling campaigns.
- Build targeting strategies that focus on Apollo’s ICP and the stakeholders involved in purchase decisions within B2B SaaS companies.
- Test and refine ad creatives, formats, and messaging to improve content consumption and increase engagement quality.
- Optimize campaigns for mid-funnel outcomes such as content engagement, session depth, and influenced pipeline rather than just conversions.
Demand Generation Strategy and Channel Development:
- Define the role of paid social within the broader B2B demand generation mix, including how it complements channels like SEO, email, and nurture programs.
- Explore and test Meta ad formats including video, carousels, and lead ads to increase reach and value.
- Collaborate with marketing operations to ensure accurate attribution and effective tracking throughout the funnel.
Analytics and Optimization:
- Use tools such as GA4 and Meta Ads Manager to analyze campaign performance and uncover optimization opportunities.
- Leverage reports and dashboards that show key metrics like engagement rates, audience insights, and impact on pipeline and revenue.
- Run structured experiments to test messaging, creative formats, and audience segments.
What You Bring:
- 6+ years of B2B growth or demand generation experience, including 4+ years managing Meta Ads hands-on.
- A strong track record of using paid social for mid-funnel demand generation, not just bottom-of-funnel lead capture.
- Experience managing six-figure monthly budgets and running content-centric Meta campaigns that support the buyer journey.
- Strong understanding of how content, creative, and targeting work together to influence B2B stakeholders.
- Proficiency in GA4, Google Tag Manager, and attribution frameworks.
- Strong communication, project management, and analytical skills.
- Facebook Blueprint certification is a plus.
