About You

AppDirect is looking for a Manager, Revenue Operations who has a positive attitude and is highly motivated and proven ability to thrive successfully in a fast paced multi-task oriented environment. This is a critical position that will play a critical role in Financial Operations.

What you'll do and how you'll make an impact:

  • Manage day-to-day user provisioning/order management and invoicing functions ensuring maintenance of internal controls;
  • Support month-end accounting close and ensure timely internal and external reporting deliverables, including preparation of annual audit/quarterly review schedules;
  • Prepare/review journal entries, monthly reconciliations, and flux analyses;
  • Collaborate with internal business partners on new initiatives to proactively consider impact on order management and invoicing processes and cross-functionally (e.g. deal desk, sales operations, sales finance, operations, IT and legal) to streamline day-to-day operations;
  • Oversee the maintenance of sales and use tax database for nexus determination, invoicing implications and reporting requirements;
  • Publish KPIs and/or accounts receivable dashboards to help monitor the growing business;
  • Ensure the financial accuracy for the Cloud business through the performance of accounting analyses during monthly accounting close;
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding;
  • Review contracts and support sales team with deal review and close;
  • Identify trends, and communicate risks to plan and forecasted goals. Drive performance targets for the Order Management team, keep stakeholders updated on performance.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of experience as a Manager, Revenue Operations;
  • Working knowledge of order-to-cash process and ability to explain complex accounting concepts to non-Accountants;
  • Previous people management experience in Finance/Accounting is preferred;
  • Proficient with NetSuite;
  • Proficient Excel ( including pivot tables and v-lookups);
  • Experience with a CRM is a plus;
  • Strong system and data flow knowledge;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail;
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills;
  • Self-motivated, flexible and deadline-oriented with a strong desire to learn and grow!;
  • Problem Solver. Innately curious and focused on finding the best solutions for business operation problems, and thrives on creating efficient systems.
