About the role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be part of our product teams. Our product teams focus on building large-scale distributed systems, aiming to provide high-quality services. You will focus on the design and implementation of tools for product development, the technologies of service operation, and deployment onto instances with high scalability requirements. Seniority and title are determined by job-related skills, experience, and evaluation following the interview. We welcome international candidates to our teams. This position is ideally to be based in Taiwan.

 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to ensure high availability, reliability, and stability of the microservices architecture
• Design and maintain observability infrastructure (logging, monitoring, alerting)
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions for scalable service deployment
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and post-mortem analysis
• Drive capacity planning and infrastructure scaling strategies
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including runbooks and operational procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems

 

About you

[Minimum qualifications]

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles 
• Strong Linux system administration skills
• Proficiency in Bash and at least one programming language (Python, Go)
• Proven experience deploying and operating production services
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management

 

[Preferred qualifications]

• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD)
• Production experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Database administration experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Experience operating large-scale web services and distributed systems
• Knowledge of security best practices (firewall configuration, IAM, network security)
