We’re seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to spearhead a dynamic team of outside sales representatives. As a Regional Sales Manager at Appstar, you will lead a team of 1099 outside sales representatives. This pivotal role is essential to our market penetration strategy and will be instrumental in driving our success within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. We are looking for a seasoned, results-oriented Sales Manager with a passion for leadership and a proven ability to close deals.

You will:

  • Manage and oversee a team of 1099 outside sales representatives, ensuring daily appointments and sales activities are executed effectively.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to reps to help them close new business and build their local territories.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from deal assessment to closing. Collaborate with Operations to submit, approve, and train accounts.
  • Inspire and motivate your team to achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining a high level of professional integrity and performance.

You have:

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, with a preference for experience in inside sales and short sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals with confidence and a professional approach over the phone.
  • Strong organizational skills to ensure all appointments and deals are managed efficiently.
  • High level of integrity, excellent communication, and motivational skills. Quick thinker with strong numerical aptitude.
  • High energy and experience in coaching and motivating a team, preferably with 1099 representatives.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple representatives and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A history of exceeding sales quotas and delivering outstanding performance.

Location: This role is 100% in-person based at our corporate offices in Kearny Mesa, San Diego.
