Technical Project Manager

About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team! The Technical PM plays a critical role in managing communication, prioritization, and resource allocation for the Development Team.

This role ensures smooth project execution by facilitating standardized processes, coordinating workload, and serving as the central point for prioritization decisions. The role supports development efficiency while minimizing roadblocks and creating alignment between the Development Team and project stakeholders.

Skills

• Familiarity with Agile development practices, including Scrum frameworks.
• Strong understanding of development workflows and task management tools like ClickUp or Jira.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.

A Normal Day in this Role

Workload Prioritization

• Serve as the "traffic controller" for development resources across multiple projects.
• Work with stakeholders to assess, prioritize, and schedule tasks based on team capacity and project needs.
• Address scheduling conflicts and resolve prioritization issues in real time.

Process Standardization

• Facilitate the adoption of standardized project management processes throughout development projects.
• Lead the refinement and improvement of Agile practices within the Development Team.

Communication & Coordination

• Act as the liaison between development resources and project teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements and timelines.
• Monitor project progress and ensure team alignment through daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Proactively identify and address project bottlenecks, reallocating resources as needed.

Team Support

• Collaborate with Delivery Leads and Developers to provide clear expectations and support.
• Contribute to code reviews and quality assurance processes in collaboration with the team.
