About The Role

We are searching for an experienced and self-driven Operations Manager who will report directly to the Head of Treasury and Operations. As the Operations Manager, you will manage and optimize the general operations of Aptos Foundation. This is a highly visible role and will partner closely with leadership and teams such as Ecosystem, Business Development, Marketing, Legal, and Finance.  

What you’ll be doing

  • Operational Strategy: Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency and scalability within our organization.  This includes supporting key functions including finance, grant administration, human resources, and technology. 
  • Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, including infrastructure, network resources, and human capital, to support the growth and stability of our platform. 
  • Execution Efficiency: Ensure operational support and alignment for initiatives that enhance ecosystem growth, community/developer engagement, and partnership development,  fostering a synergistic relationship between operational efficiency and ecosystem development.
  • Data Analytics: Conducting data analytics to help understand trends and identify opportunities for efficiencies, including both within the organization and relative to industry peers
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within our operational processes and implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate them.
  • Fulfill and work other duties and responsibilities as they come about

Role Requirements:  

  • Expertise: Strong background in operations management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in optimizing operational processes and resource management.
  • Industry Experience: At least 5 years of operational experience with preference for work in Web3 and blockchain ecosystems.  
  • Ability to work as a self starter with a significant amount of autonomy
  • Comfortable with analyzing data and leveraging analytics to influence decision making.  
  • Cross functional: strong track record of interfacing with key stakeholders from different departments.
  • Strong EQ, with fine-tuned instincts and problem-solving skills 
  • Demonstrates sound, consistent, and trusted judgment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and proactively with leads and individual contributors
  • Thrives in a fast paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
