Sales Advisor

What we’re building

Every idea starts with a problem. Ours was simple: Boats are special — but they’re loud, pollutant, unreliable, and stuck in the past. Gas-powered boats dominate not because they’re great, but because no better option has existed. Until now.

Arc is here to change that. We’re building 100% electric boats from the ground up — quicker, quieter, easier to maintain, and better for the water they ride on. We’re not just swapping gas for batteries. We’re rethinking every detail on the boat — from propulsion and powertrain to software and ownership model — applying first-principles engineering from aerospace and EVs to deliver a better boating experience.

Electric boats haven’t taken over yet. The tech hasn’t been ready. The talent hasn’t been focused here. That’s our opportunity — and we’re moving fast.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a proven sales closer who is fired up by our mission and ready to accelerate our growth. You’ll thrive here if you are a relentless hunter of opportunities, a master of the "soft sell" in luxury markets, and someone who takes extreme ownership of the customer journey.

This is a full-time role which will require both time onsite as well as travel throughout your market. You’ll report to the Senior Manager, Sales and Delivery and work closely with a lean, high-trust team where everyone’s work matters.

Core responsibilities

  • Developing your pipeline and market - Proactively engaging with qualified leads and untapped opportunities to build and maintain a robust, high-conversion sales pipeline.
  • Hosting Qualified Demo Experiences - Leading high-stakes, on-water demonstrations for serious prospects, expertly articulating the value proposition and performance of Arc’s electric vessels.
  • Maintaining impeccable data hygiene: update deal stages, log all activities, and tag key insights so the entire go-to-market team operates on real-time facts.
  • Managing Contracts: Drafting, tailoring, and executing purchase agreements, ensuring all documentation is accurate and move-ready for the customer.
  • Conducting targeted outbound calls to prospects, cold leads, and unresponsive leads to generate new opportunities and expand pipeline reach.
  • Identifying and presenting new opportunities for events, partnerships, and activations to continuously feed the top of the sales funnel in your market
  • Facilitating Transactions: Guiding customers through the final stages of the purchase process, including financing coordination, payment milestones, and administrative requirements.
  • Reporting weekly on pipeline growth, lead-source performance, and win-rate drivers—turning data into clear, actionable stories.
  • Jumping into boat shows, demos, deliveries, or special events when the team needs an extra set of hands—team-first mindset, always!

Basic qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in high-ticket sales (luxury automotive, marine, aviation, or premium real estate preferred) with a proven sales track record
  • Strong ability to manage complex contracts and handle objections with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Enthusiasm for working with customers and educating them on new concepts
  • Track record of driving towards, and exceeding, ambitious sales goals
  • Experience in creating extraordinary customer experiences
  • Confident boat handling skills to safely and impressively showcase vessel capabilities during demos.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where sales strategies iterate based on objective metrics.
  • Detail oriented and practiced in keeping clean, accurate data through CRM
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication—you translate technical features into compelling benefits with ease.
  • Willingness to work evenings/weekends
  • Willingness to travel (~ 50%)

Bonus qualifications

  • Experience selling luxury consumer goods, marine, automotive, or EV products direct to consumer
  • Familiarity with lead-scoring models and sales/delivery automation workflows.
  • Passion for water sports—wake surfing, wakeboarding, sailing, or fishing.
  • Deep network within the local luxury or boating community.

At Arc, we encourage diversity and consider all qualified applicants equally for employment, regardless of background, identity, or status. You’re always welcome to reach out even if you don’t meet many of these qualifications. Passion and aptitude make up for a lot.

Our values

We move with urgency and build with care. We value these five things above all else:

  • Inclusion of different backgrounds, opinions, cultures, and perspectives.

We want people who share and embody these values. It is vital that our values align - we’d be happy to elaborate on any or all of these during the interview process.

What we offer

We don’t think great work happens by accident. We invest in the people building Arc — because when you’re supported, you do your best work.

  • Salary $115,000
  • Ownership – Equity in Arc
  • 99% employer-paid health coverage – Medical, dental, and vision

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
