What You'll Do
- Support the team on various legal aspects of contract management and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Review, draft, negotiate, and manage various legal agreements, including but not limited to Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Service Agreements, vendor and supplier contracts, and other commercial arrangements.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies affecting the organization.
- Support compliance with employment, labour, and corporate regulatory requirements.
- Support updates made to internal processes and policies to ensure ongoing legal compliance.
- Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure appropriate awareness of the organization’s legal requirements and framework.
- Create and maintain contract abstracts, summaries, and templates as needed.
- Proactively audit processes, practices, and documents to identify gaps/improvement areas.
- Be responsible for data management, reporting, and documentation, as required by the team's key stakeholders.
- Support other strategic projects and initiatives, as needed.
What You’ll need:
- LLB from a reputed institution. LLM (preferred, not mandatory)
- 5 to 3 years of experience working in an in-house legal team or law firm.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of contract drafting, negotiation, applicable regulatory frameworks, employment laws, and corporate compliance standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude.
- Excellent oral/written communications skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics with an ability to handle sensitive information.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
