Electrical Engineer

What You’ll Do
- Design, build and operate integrated test labs to support the development and certification of Archer’s eVTOL aircraft
- Work with subsystem stakeholders to develop test lab equipment electrical requirements
- Design electrical wiring interconnect and instrumentation systems to be used for hardware integration test labs
- Select components to be used in lab builds
- Modify conformal wiring harnesses to add wiring for test lab specific needs (tap-ins, relays, data logging, switches, power supplies)
- Manage external suppliers to procure lab components and/or manufacture Archer designed test equipment and oversee fabrication through final buy-off
- Aid technicians in installation and check-out of test equipment to ensure proper function
What You Need
- 5+ years of electrical design experience with either product design and/or test equipment in aerospace, automotive, or a related industry
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Understanding of communication protocols (ARINC, CAN, Ethernet, Serial)
- Familiarity with aviation or aerospace lab test hardware including tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters
- Strong electrical design skills with the ability to own a project from requirements through detailed design and fabrication
