Director of Social & Creative Strategy

US - Remote

Job Title: Director of Social & Creative Strategy

Job Type: Full-Time (Remote)

ARMR Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am - 6pm EST

About ARMRA: ARMRA® was born from a near-fatal health crisis that forced its Founder & CEO, Dr. Sarah Rahal, to uncover what modern life has stolen. As a pediatric neurologist, she turned to exhaustive research and ancient wisdom to find a solution—not just for herself, but for the growing health crisis affecting us all. Your body isn’t broken—it’s brilliantly designed for strength, resilience, and vitality. But the modern world scrambles the signal, disconnecting you from the intelligence encoded within. ARMRA Colostrum™ is nature’s original blueprint with 400+ bioactive nutrients that restore what modern life strips away. It works at the cellular level to remind your body of its original code and reawaken its innate intelligence—so you can reclaim your birthright to thrive.

Who We Are

  • Builders, not passengers – We take ownership, thrive on momentum, and embrace challenges.
  • Resilient and resourceful – We find a way forward, even when the answer isn’t obvious.
  • Mission-driven – We believe in what we’re building and are passionate about making an impact.
  • Direct and constructive – Feedback is a gift, and we embrace it in order to grow.

Who We Are Not

  • Performative – We don’t play games, manipulate optics, or curate an image for external approval.
  • Entitled – We don’t expect rewards without contribution.
  • Clock punchers – We don’t attract those looking for just a "job"; we seek individuals who want to build careers, take ownership, and find joy in their work every day.

The Role: ARMRA is seeking a strategic, culturally fluent, and creatively driven Director of Social & Creative Strategy to lead our social vision into its next chapter of growth. This role blends data-backed insight with bold storytelling to translate ARMRA’s wellness mission into a scroll-stopping, social-first brand experience.

You’ll develop breakthrough strategies that grow our community, amplify brand storytelling, and drive measurable business impact. Equal parts strategist, cultural curator, and innovator, you’ll work cross-functionally with Creative, Content, Influencer, Community, CX, and Integrated Marketing teams to ensure social content is not only on-brand—but impossible to ignore.

Our ideal candidate bridges art and science to unlock breakthrough creativity—marrying consumer insights, cultural fluency, data, and storytelling to shape work that resonates deeply and delivers results. You create environments where teams thrive: from gathering context and crafting clear creative briefs to leading collaborative brainstorms that push work forward.

You live and breathe culture, move at the speed of it, and know how to ship bold, best-in-class work. You have a pulse on what’s next, an obsession with storytelling, and a track record of inspiring creatives to do their best. This role requires deep platform expertise, a sharp editorial eye, and a clear point of view on what drives connection, conversation, and conversion in today’s attention economy. Flexible, curious, and collaborative, you thrive in fast-paced environments without ever sacrificing excellence.

Responsibilities:

STRATEGY & LEADERSHIP

  • Lead the inspiration, development and execution of innovative, cross-platform social strategies that align with brand objectives and drive measurable growth (IG, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, Substack, Facebook, Threads, X)
  • Actively scout and integrate emerging formats, platform features, and AI tools - positioning ARMRA as a category leader in social innovation.
  • Define the long-term vision for ARMRA’s social media presence, ensuring the brand remains a leader in culture, content, and category disruption

CONTENT PLANNING

  • Partner with our Director of Content to create a dynamic, multi-channel content ecosystem that entertains, educates, and drives community engagement.
  • Manage content calendars and publishing tools, maintaining a clear, consistent cadence that supports brand and campaign priorities.

CREATIVE STRATEGY

  • Write compelling creative briefs that are insightful, inspirational, and identify culturally relevant storytelling and platform-native executions.
  • Champion social-first creative excellence by blending audience insight, cultural intelligence, and data to shape the direction and intent behind every social campaign.
  • Stay hyper-attuned to platform shifts, social trends, content formats, brand, audience, industry, and competitive research—using AI tools and manual monitoring to surface high-signal ideas with creative potential.
  • Lead and facilitate brainstorms and creative development with rigor and imagination—helping creative teams develop work that is emotionally engaging, insight-led, and made to win in the feed.

EXECUTION

  • Accountable for the full content lifecycle—from strategy to scheduling to publishing—ensuring timely, platform-optimized execution across all channels.
  • Partner with the Director of Content to guide and refine ARMRA’s social voice and messaging hierarchy to ensure consistency across platforms, creators, and community engagement.

PERFORMANCE + INSIGHTS

  • Define and own social KPIs (engagement, growth, conversion, attribution), and build reporting frameworks to inform strategy and storytelling.
  • Champion a test-and-learn mindset—running creative experimentation across formats and platforms, tracking results, and feeding learnings back into the strategy loop. Form hypotheses, review social performance metrics, and identify trends to fuel iterative creative improvement.

SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT

  • Partner with our Community and CX teams to drive engagement through conversation-worthy moments and authentic two-way dialogue with our audience.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in social media strategy—ideally you have worked as a creative strategist at an agency or within a high-growth, culturally relevant brand/DTC startup
  • Strategic leader and creative strategist with experience driving cross-functional collaboration across creative, influencer, CX, and brand marketing teams.
  • Deep knowledge of social algorithms, platform best practices, and content optimization across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging channels.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling breakthrough campaigns that drive both engagement and business results.
  • Expert in social media analytics tools (Dash Hudson) and attribution modeling. Comfortable turning insights into action and AI tools.
  • Experienced in managing social media calendars, content scheduling, and publishing tools (e.g., BrandBastion, Tribe).
  • Strong creative judgment and an eye for aesthetics—able to guide best-in-class content that’s native to the platform but unmistakably on-brand.
  • Fluent in pop culture, digital trends, and internet behavior. Knows when to react, when to lead, and how to make the brand feel culturally relevant.
  • Experience owning social KPIs (engagement, growth, conversion), and reporting frameworks that ladder into broader brand and business goals.
  • Balances storytelling with performance. Understands how to make content both emotionally resonant and results-driven.
  • Type A. Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously—highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable under pressure.
  • Strong communicator and collaborative partner with the ability to both ideate and execute independently.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, ancestry, sex, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, genetics, disability, age, veteran status, or other characteristics.
