What you will be doing
As an experienced hire with a versatile skill set, you will act as the intersection of IT and business. We are looking for a candidate that not only can perform advanced analytics, but can interface with clients and ensure that internal project efforts and client accounts are managed, aligned, and on track.
Key tasks include:
- Conducting projects to accompany the transformation of your clients’ businesses through the effective collection, processing, and visualization of data
- Accompanying our clients in the conception and implementation of data architectures and data pipelines, from collection to monitoring
- Extracting valuable insights from our clients’ marketing-related data sources
- Researching and developing new technical approaches to address problems efficiently
- Designing dashboards for marketing decision-making while taking into account the business needs
- Actively contributing to the expertise level and competencies of the Data & Analytics team
- Closely collaborate with the other divisions (Media & Activation, Creation, Consulting, Data Science and Data Engineer) to provide comprehensive services to your clients
What we are looking for
We’re looking for forward-thinkers and “quick studies” who are poised to make impact, are ready to help our clients in their digital and data journeys, and will help to position Artefact at the forefront of innovation and disruption. As someone who will help build our U.S. office from the ground up, we need a data engineer who’s naturally curious, independent, team-oriented, and eager to learn. We’ll give you the tools and training to be successful, and you’ll come armed with the following:
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Technology, Data & Analytics, or other areas related to our business (college seniors are welcome to apply)
- 2-3 years of full-time work experience, or relevant internships, in data-driven working environments with experience or knowledge in:
- Data collection (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SQL database, CRM database, transactional data)
- Programming languages (among SQL, Python and/or R)
- Data visualization tools (Tableau, Data Studio, Dataviz, R / Python dataviz libraries, etc.)
- Additionally, have knowledge in one or more of the following technologies:
- Google Cloud Platform resources (Big Query, Google Cloud Storage) or its equivalent in Azure or AWS
- You know how to connect to an API through the knowledge of the different authentication method (OAuth, HTTP Basic, API key)
- Advertising tool, linked to tracking and/or analytics in a marketing context (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, DMP, DSP, Adservers, DV 360...)
- ETL tool (Airflow, Dataiku, Dataflow, Dataprep...)
- Web application (R-Shiny, Python Flask) that you have industrialized
- Have a strong business-orientation with great verbal and written communication skills; ability to represent Artefact in a client-facing capacity
- Ability to engage with diverse team members; strong intercultural communication skills are a must
- Advanced familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint
Strong teaching orientation; demonstrated ability to mentor more junior members of the team
