What you will be doing:

We’re looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer with hands-on experience in GCP to join our data team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and workflows that support our analytics and data-driven products.

• You act on all the value chain of projects (infrastructures and platforms creation, data collection, application of machine learning models, APIs REST creations, of front-ends, of tests, continuous deployments)
• You have a good knowledge of python (Java and Scala are an asset), you know how to navigate *nix thank to CLI, you are familiar or have already used cloud technologies such as GCP (Google Cloud Platform), you have already used big data technologies like Beam (Dataflow), Spark (Dataproc), or Flink and Docker (GKE is an asset)
• You can popularize technical terms or solutions to more business oriented profiles, you can work in a team with very diversified profiles
• You know how to prioritize your tasks, respect deadlines, prevent in case of problems

What we are looking for:

• A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on technical delivery with mentoring and team enablement.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Curiosity: You are always looking for innovative solutions for your clients. You get involved in the entire value chain, which can include front-end, back-end, big data infrastructure, ML models.
• Collaboration: Knowledge sharing is essential to you, and you actively contribute to spreading information within Artefact.
• Entrepreneurship: You bring solutions, new ideas, and innovations.
• Fluent English: You are comfortable communicating in English, as it is essential for working in our international environment.
