This position will be based out of our office in New York City on a hybrid basis. 

About the Job

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Ascertain, you will be a key player in designing, developing, and deploying our AI-driven applications. You'll collaborate with a talented team of engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our customers' needs and transform healthcare administration.

What You'll Do:

• Design and develop scalable back-end services using Python and FastAPI, utilizing a variety of data storage solutions. 
• Build intuitive front-end applications using TypeScript 
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions. 
• Support infrastructure management using Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform. 
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical challenges. 
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define technical requirements and translate them into robust software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring high-quality code standards. 
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to fostering a collaborative engineering culture. 
• Contribute to improving software development processes and best practices. 

What You'll Need:

• 5+ years of experience in full stack development using Python, FastAPI, and TypeScript. 
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL), full-text search engines (Elasticsearch), and caching systems (Redis). 
• Familiarity with container orchestration using Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions. 
• Experience with infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Docker.

• Strong problem-solving abilities in a in startup or fast-paced environment.

Salary Range:

• $180,000 - $220,000 base salary, depending on previous experience and alignment with role expectations.
