The Role
As an Agency Creative Strategist, you will be the engine of our new and existing business growth. Your primary mission is to craft compelling strategies and proposals that showcase Aspire's value and win new clients. This is a high-level, client-facing role that requires a blend of creative thinking, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of the influencer marketing landscape. This role is fully remote; however, you will be expected to travel to key client pitches and industry events.
What You’ll Be Working On:
- New Business Strategy & Proposals: Lead the development of creative and innovative strategies for prospective clients. Build and present proposals that effectively communicate how Aspire can solve their business challenges and achieve their marketing goals. Approximately 75% of your time will be dedicated to this.
- Strategic Upsells & Renewals: Partner with our Account Directors to support our largest and most strategically important accounts with respect to renewals and expansions. Keep our approach fresh and exciting. Approximately 25% of your time will be dedicated to this.
- Creator, Consumer, and Cultural Insights: Combine your understanding of the pop cultural zeitgeist with consumer and creator needs, wants, and behaviors to create exciting and effective strategies for our clients. This will rely on your deep familiarity with platforms such as TikTok, Meta, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Client Communication: Serve as a strategic partner to clients, maintaining strong, long-term relationships. You will need to be an excellent communicator, capable of handling complex conversations and providing clear, actionable advice.
- Client-Facing & Presentations: Be the primary presenter for new business pitches and strategic reviews. You must be comfortable and confident speaking in front of clients and other stakeholders to sell your vision and expertise.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with our sales, marketing, and product teams. You will act as a bridge between these departments, using their insights to inform your strategies and ensuring a seamless workflow.
- Operational Acumen: While this role is focused on strategy, you must have an understanding of agency operations to build efficient and effective workflows. Your goal is to simplify processes, not complicate them.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 5+ years successful track record in the industry (i.e. at an agency or a fast-paced marketing environment).
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to build creative and data-driven strategies that address client needs and win new business.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You should be a confident and compelling presenter, as well as an "over-communicator" who prioritizes clarity and follow-up.
- Client-Facing Expertise: Experience in a client-facing role, including building relationships, managing expectations, and presenting complex information clearly.
- Adaptability: The ability to be curious, ask the right questions, and pivot quickly when a client's needs change. You must be resourceful and solution-oriented.
- Collaborative Mindset: A strong desire to work with and support cross-functional teams. You must be able to lead and influence without direct authority.
- Operational Acumen: Familiarity with project management tools and a knack for creating efficient workflows. The ability to use data to inform decisions and measure success is a must.

The base salary for this role is between $100,000-130,000. This role is eligible for bonuses.
- Please note: The final offer amount will depend on factors like experience, expertise, and location, and may differ from the range above. This range also excludes additional benefits, such as equity, 401(k), and medical, dental, or vision insurance.
Our compensation philosophy: we use a market-based approach to compensation. This means we use a series of compensation tools to help us understand how companies value this role in the U.S. market based on function, level, geographic location, and positions benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. To comply with local legislation and provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above. We have competitive pay bands for all other countries based on market standards.
