Role Overview

Astera Labs is seeking a Product Marketing New College Graduate to join our dynamic marketing team in San Jose. This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to launch their career at the intersection of cutting-edge AI connectivity technology and go-to-market strategy. As connectivity becomes the critical enabler of rack-scale AI infrastructure, you'll gain hands-on experience translating complex technical innovations into compelling market narratives that resonate with hyperscalers, cloud builders, and enterprise customers worldwide.

 

In this role, you'll work alongside experienced product marketing managers and cross-functional teams spanning engineering, sales, and corporate marketing. You'll contribute to real product launches, customer-facing content, and competitive positioning for Astera's industry-leading portfolio of PCIe, CXL, and Ethernet connectivity solutions. This is your chance to develop both technical depth and marketing acumen while helping shape how the industry understands and adopts next-generation AI infrastructure connectivity.

 

Key Responsibilities

 
  • Market Intelligence & Analysis

    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and positioning gaps in the AI connectivity landscape
    • Gather and synthesize customer insights from sales teams, technical discussions, and industry sources
    • Track product and campaign performance metrics, preparing actionable summaries for internal stakeholders
  • Content Creation & Sales Enablement

    • Support development of product marketing materials including presentations, datasheets, white papers, and web content
    • Help craft product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that translate technical capabilities into business outcomes
    • Collaborate with corporate marketing on launch campaigns, email outreach, and digital content updates
  • Go-to-Market Execution

    • Assist with day-to-day product marketing operations and cross-functional launch activities
    • Support sales enablement initiatives to ensure field teams have compelling technical and business narratives
    • Contribute to customer-facing collateral that showcases Astera's connectivity innovations
 

Basic Qualifications

 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
  • Graduation date between April 2026 and August 2026
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and data-driven approach
  • Demonstrated interest in technology marketing, product management, or go-to-market strategy
 

Preferred Qualifications

 
  • Internship or project experience in marketing, product management, or technical communications
  • Familiarity with semiconductor, networking, or data center technologies
  • Understanding of AI infrastructure, cloud computing, or high-speed connectivity domains
  • Experience creating technical content, presentations, or documentation
  • Self-starter with strong collaboration skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
 

Salary range is $140,000 to $155,000 depending on experience, level, and business need. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits.
