Position Summary:

The Director of FP&A will play a critical role in driving financial strategy and operational excellence across all of Atari’s business units, including games, e-commerce, licensing, and hardware. Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), oversee budgeting and forecasting, and ensure seamless integration of financial systems and processes. This role requires a forward-thinking leader with a passion for process improvement, data-driven decision-making, and financial modeling excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Collaborate with the CFO and executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that align with Atari’s long-term goals.
  • Act as a financial advisor to various business units, providing insights and recommendations to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Financial Operations:

  • Oversee the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Lead the FP&A function, including managing and mentoring the India-based FP&A team.
  • Create usable budgets for the business, including evaluating the needs of each department in the long term.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis across all business units.
  • Managing alongside with the CFO and external advisors the tax filings and tax planning.
  • Support audit activities for public filings.

Process Improvement & System Integration:

  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead and oversee financial system migrations as necessary to support evolving business needs.

M&A and Financial Modeling:

  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities.
  • Provide financial due diligence and scenario planning for potential deals.
  • Prepare and outline complex models into simple terms that others can work with.

Data and Analytics:

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of PowerBI KPI dashboards to ensure real-time access to actionable insights.
  • Partner with teams to ensure data integrity and alignment across financial reporting systems.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 10+ years of progressive finance and leadership experience, preferably in gaming, entertainment, technology, or a related industry.
  • Proven experience managing FP&A teams and financial processes in a global, multi-unit organization.
  • Hands-on experience with system migrations and process improvement initiatives.

Skills:

  • Exceptional Excel skills with advanced modeling expertise.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI and financial systems integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).

Salary Range: $140,000 - $170,000
