ATI Advisory is currently seeking a director to join our company.
The Director will lead client-facing projects focused on Medicaid managed care growth, strategy, and market analysis. This person will serve as both a subject matter expert and project leader, helping state and regional Medicaid plans grow their footprint, respond to procurement opportunities, and strengthen their market positioning.
They will collaborate with internal teams, support business development, and help shape ATI's Medicaid portfolio by leveraging hands-on experience from the MCO environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead client engagements focused on Medicaid growth, strategy, and market analysis.
- Direct the development of competitive RFP responses, win themes and strategies, and proposal content.
- Provide strategic guidance to health plan clients on product design, operational readiness, and stakeholder positioning.
- Work cross-functionally with ATI researchers, analysts, and advisors to deliver high-impact results.
- Support ATI's internal growth through thought leadership, mentoring, and portfolio development.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, including health plans, state partners, and ecosystem collaborators.
- Track and interpret Medicaid trends, policies, and procurement activity at the state and national level.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in Medicaid managed care, including at least 2 years in a strategic or growth leadership role within an MCO.
- Proven experience with Medicaid RFP leadership and development, including working across multidisciplinary proposal teams.
- Deep understanding of state Medicaid programs, procurement processes, and managed care operations.
- Strong client-facing skills with a track record of building relationships and leading complex engagements.
- Excellent project management, writing, and communication skills.
- Highly organized, accountable, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams.
- Passion for improving care and outcomes for Medicaid populations.
Preferred Requirements:
- Consulting experience or demonstrated success working in advisory settings.
- Experience across a variety of Medicaid markets or plan types (e.g., MLTSS, behavioral health, D-SNPs).
- Familiarity with value-based payment models or delivery system innovation.
- Graduate degree in public policy, business, public health, or related field (MPH, MPA, MBA, etc.).
