How You Will Make an Impact:
As Atlas Energy Solutions’ I&E Manager, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of instrumentation and electrical systems across our West Texas operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our automated systems and electrical infrastructure. This is a strategic leadership position that supports innovation and operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and electrical systems across multiple sites.
- Lead a team of I&E technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
- Oversee I&E aspects of capital projects, ensuring alignment with engineering standards and project timelines.
- Ensure all systems and practices comply with industry codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, maintenance records, and compliance reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance through automation, remote monitoring, and advanced diagnostics.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in industrial I&E systems, preferably in the energy, mining, or manufacturing sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, motor controls, and industrial instrumentation.
- Deep understanding of electrical safety standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E) and hazardous area classifications.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., journeyman electrician, ISA, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
