Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Junior Full Stack Engineer to join our Application Modernization and Analytics Services (AAS) practice. This role will focus on driving the successful delivery of technical consulting services to state government, higher education, and non-profit clients.
Required Skills
- 2-3 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer with AWS, Java, Node.JS, React, Python or Angular, and SQL in a client-facing or consulting environment
- Proven experience with APIs, REST, and CI/CD tools
- Experience integrating external systems via API or IPaaS (e.g. MuleSoft or other related tools)
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Typescript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a microservice environment
- Hands on experience with data migration and integrations.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Curiosity and a growth mindset to take on the unknown and the ambiguous.
- Partner with teams and customers to meet and exceed delivery commitments
- Create impact through excellent client delivery, either‚ alone‚ or as part of a delivery team
- Deliver high-quality written, verbal, and/or visual communication to clients
- Understand client business problems; work on the design, development, configuration, testing, and deployment of software to provide the solution.
- Write the code to produce applications that provide measurable business value to our clients
- Leverage your expertise in software development to present innovative concepts to your clients.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams
Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s in computer science degree
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar.
- Knowledge of modern software architecture patterns
- Experience with Azure and/or GCP
- Familiarity with .Net/C#
- Prior experience working in a consulting firm serving higher education and non-profit clients

Attain Partners is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Individual base salary for this position is unique to each candidate and will be commensurate with experience, education, and skills, ranging from $80,000 - $90,000. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
