Role and Responsibilities:

 

Role:

 

The Financial Data Analyst/Bookkeeper reports to the Finance Manager, supporting day-to-day financial operations of the company. This position ensures accounting records accuracy, facilitates timely payments/receipts, prepares reports, supports audits, manages financial transactions, ensures compliance with company policies, and contributes to the financial health of the organization.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Maintains accurate and up-to-date general ledger (GL) entries.
• Processes and manages accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Assists with tax preparation and filings.
• Reconciles bank statements and cash accounts.
• Monitors and manages company credit cards.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.

Qualifications:

 

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or Data Entry Analyst with the potential and interest in advancing to an accounting role
• At least 2 years work experience in a fast paced, high volume environment (Managed many bank accounts and credit cards; A lot of transaction)
• A solid understanding of general accounting principles, including accounts payable/receivable, bank statements and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite is a Strong Plus), Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, formulas, etc.), Google Workplace.
• Experience in managing multiple company bank accounts and credit cards.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to take on more complex accounting tasks in the future.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

Details:

 

Job Type: Full-time, On-site, not remote, Do not sponsor H1b, No relocation package. 

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm 

Salary Range: $36k to 45k per Year

Pay Structure: Salary + Bonus
