As a PV BESS Design Manager, you’ll be at the center of designing and executing best-in-class renewable energy projects. Your expertise will directly impact project efficiency, cost optimization, and long-term energy solutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design of large-scale solar and BESS projects, optimizing layouts and electrical configurations for performance and profitability.
• Oversee engineering drawings, site layouts, and electrical schematics, using AutoCAD,PVCase, PVSyst, and other cutting-edge tools.
• Own the technical strategy—validate and approve designs to ensure compliance with industry best practices and project requirements.
• Be the bridge between engineering and execution, collaborating with project teams, permitting agencies, and procurement teams to drive seamless project delivery.
• Stay ahead of emerging solar and BESS technologies, ensuring Atwell remains a leader in renewable energy solutions.
• Mentor & develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (PE license preferred).
• 12+ years of experience in Power & Energy, with a strong focus on utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects.
• A proven track record in leading design teams and managing complex engineering projects.
• Strong project management and client-facing skills, with the ability to drive solutions from concept to execution.
• Expertise in solar PV modeling, electrical design, and industry-standard tools.
  Passion for team leadership, mentorship, and technical innovation.
