Job Description
- Provide administrative support to project teams (e.g., meeting minutes, word processing of correspondence, proposals, permit applications, and reports; proofreading/editing documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting; inputting work orders; photocopying).
- Review historical and current firm resources (e.g., zoning information, surveys, aerial photographs, maps).
- Review historical and current public and private information from various resources (e.g., municipalities, site visits, Internet).
- Acquire research documentation:
- Purchase or reproduce project-related materials identified during research.
- Assure work product:
- Analyze design, client requirements, and performance standards.
- Maintain and create templates (work orders, reports): type, finalize, copy, and distribute.
- Create proposals: type, finalize, copy, and distribute.
- Monitor project status:
- Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends.
- Track project and team member status (e.g., status reports).
- Intervene, as needed, to ensure project objectives.
- Collect and organize project materials and maintain project files and job folders.
- Prepare inactive project files for historical use, place in storage and maintain accurate listing of storage files.
- Ensure product quality and Atwell reputation:
- Follow Atwell Product Quality Manual and established standards.
- Interact with clients, vendors, and business contacts in a professional manner.
- Assist in project control:
- Adhere to project parameters.
- Recommend changes in design, specifications, budget, and schedule to be consistent with project objectives.
- Monitor time efficiency of the teams (ex: projects on schedule and under budget).
Qualifications
- Specialized experience required in administrative office functions.
- Ideally 2+ years in the A/E/C environment
- Tact, common sense, and experience performing under stressful conditions.
- Skilled at time management.
- Knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Word & Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint.

Compensation Range
$41,600 - $56,200 USD
