Atwell is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead land development projects and client relationships in our Costa Mesa office. You’ll take on an existing book of business and be empowered to grow it.
If you’re a licensed PE with strong technical and leadership skills, and you’re ready to take full ownership of your clients, projects, and team—this is your seat at the table.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead a team of 6+ engineers delivering site development for single-family, multifamily, and build-to-rent projects
- Manage grading, stormwater design, permitting, and QA/QC
- Be the primary contact for clients—own communication, build trust, and expand relationships
- Oversee budgets, timelines, and deliverables across multiple projects
- Drive business development by identifying new opportunities and growing key accounts
- Mentor junior staff and shape technical excellence across your team
You Bring:
- PE License (California required)
- 8+ years in civil engineering with stormwater & land development experience
- Strong client-facing presence and relationship-building skills
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, ICPR, AGTEK, and BMP design
- A self-starter mentality with the confidence to lead independently
- Business development or account growth experience (a major plus)

Pay Range
$145,000 - $230,000 USD
