Atwell is seeking a Campus and Early Careers Specialist to support and grow Atwell’s early talent pipeline. In this role, you will play a key part in building relationships with universities, engaging with students, and delivering a high-quality recruiting experience from initial outreach through onboarding. You’ll also help execute our campus strategy and summer internship program, contributing to the development of future talent across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support full-cycle recruiting for internship positions across all Atwell regions and markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, career centers, and student organizations, helping to strengthen Atwell’s employer brand with a focus on key industry programs.
- Manage campus event logistics and execution, including registrations, onsite coordination, and real-time problem-solving to ensure a seamless experience.
- Coordinate branded materials and swag distribution in partnership with the marketing team to ensure consistent and effective employer brand representation.
- Lead post-event follow-up and communications, ensuring timely engagement with candidates and hiring managers to maximize recruiting outcomes.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand internship hiring needs and support effective hiring strategies.
- Maintain accurate recruiting data and track key metrics within the applicant tracking system and internal platforms.
- Deliver a high-quality, engaging candidate expereince from initial outreach through onboarding.
- Assist in the planning and execution of Atwell’s summer internship program, including onboarding, engagement, and program coordination.
- Contribute to the growth of Atwell’s early talent pipeline and support long-term workforce planning efforts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in campus recruiting, university relations, or early talent acquisition, with exposure to full-cycle recruiting (sourcing, interviewing, and candidate management).
- Experience in the AEC industry or supporting technical recruiting efforts preferred, but not required.
- Proven ability to plan and execute campus recruiting events, including career fairs, networking events, interviews, and student organization partnerships.
- Strong working knowledge of applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, sourcing techniques, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, seasonal recruiting environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel during peak campus recruiting seasons (September – October and February – March).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate and internal partner experience.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret recruiting metrics and market trends.
