Analyst, Investor Relations (Senior Debt)

POSITION SUMMARY:
Audax Group is seeking an Investor Relations Analyst to become a key contributor on a high-performing and expanding team. The firm’s Investor Relations effort has a high degree of responsibility, interacting externally with Limited Partners and internally with senior management. The Analyst will support the Audax Private Debt business in New York, by assisting in both client relations and fundraising efforts.
The role requires the ability to understand Audax Private Debt’s various products and vehicles. Successful candidates are creative problem solvers who can prioritize multiple tasks and deliverables in a deadline-oriented environment. Attention to detail, quantitative analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a rigorous work ethic are prerequisites. Prior work experience in leveraged finance and/or private markets investments is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Relations and Fundraising
- Prepare presentation and support materials for investor meetings
- Work with Investor Relations team as well as existing and prospective investors to facilitate responses to inquiries related to product offerings, including due diligence questionnaires, RFPs, and ad hoc requests
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and craft responses that accurately convey the attributes of Audax Private Debt
- Assist in content management related to Audax Private Debt products and offerings
- Support fundraising efforts by developing prospect lists and maintaining internal systems
- Develop and maintain deep cross-functional relationships with Investment, Finance, Compliance, Tax, and other internal teams
- Gather and maintain information on competitors to help better position Audax’ offerings
Communications
- Support the creation of innovative marketing collateral that clearly communicates the strategy and value proposition of Audax Private Debt products (e.g., presentations, fact sheets, PPMs, etc.)
- Maintain marketing software used for presentation and client reporting materials
- Assist in the drafting and developing of investor communications, including quarterly and annual reports and letters
- Facilitate internal review process for external materials, including with the Investment team, Compliance and/or Legal team
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, economics, accounting, or marketing
- Demonstrated professional and academic achievement
- 1-3 years of prior experience within an investment bank or alternative asset management firm, preferably in a marketing, investment, or financial analyst position
- Proficiency of PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong quantitative skills, including knowledge and understanding of finance and accounting
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Works well under pressure with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Ability to cultivate and foster solid working relationships with colleagues in other offices
- Inquisitive nature and desire to dive deep into the asset class
- Strong work ethic, team player, proactive, attention to detail and positive attitude

SALARY:
For New York City only: The base salary range for this position is $100,000.00- $110,000.00. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
