POSITION SUMMARY:
Audax is seeking a curious, analytical, and highly motivated Business Intelligence Intern to join our Business Solutions team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world data analytics and business intelligence initiatives within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
In this role, you will support Audax’s Business Intelligence (BI) strategy by working closely with BI and business stakeholders to analyze data, develop and maintain data models, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of reporting. You will gain practical experience across the full BI lifecycle—from data preparation and modeling to visualization and insights—while contributing to the continued evolution and scalability of the firm’s BI capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, implement, maintain, and help scale Audax’s Business Intelligence reporting and semantic layer across the organization
- Support Business Solutions and other strategic functions through Power BI development, data analytics, and reporting solutions
- Collaborate with BI professionals to enhance and scale the semantic layer within Audax’s cloud-based enterprise data warehouse
- Perform data validation and data quality assessments, identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving data anomalies
TECHNOLOGY & ANALYTICAL COMPETENCIES
- Proficiency in Power BI and SQL required
- Familiarity with on-premise and cloud-based databases a plus
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Prior internship, co-op, or full-time experience in a related analytics, data, or technology role is a plus
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly through strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
LOCATION: New York, NY. This position is 40 hours/week and in the office 4 days/week. These in-office requirements may be adjusted based on the needs of the business.

The base salary range for this position is [$low - $high]. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
