THE ROLE
We are looking for a Head of Retail to join our team and lead the charge in scaling our newest vertical: Audicus Hearing Centers. We’ve recently launched locations inside two Sam’s Club stores (PA and MD) and are gearing up for nationwide expansion. This role is your chance to build a fast-growing business from the ground up, crafting and executing a scalable growth strategy to bring Audicus Hearing Centers to hundreds of locations.
As a key leader reporting directly to the CEO, you'll oversee the retail teams, own P&L responsibilities, and build the infrastructure to scale this business. We’re looking for a hands-on builder with expertise in retail sales, particularly scaling “store-in-store” concepts, and a proven record of starting & building strategic relationships with large retail partners. You thrive on tackling challenges, thinking analytically, and delivering innovative solutions to drive sustainable growth—all while obsessing over user experience and customer psychology.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and drive our retail partnerships, ensure we have strong relationships at every level - executive decision-makers, merchants, in-store staff, etc.
- Develop and drive the expansion strategy with the retail partners
- Lead, inspire and develop our in-store teams, including creating and communicating the sales incentive plans for these teams
- Develop and optimize the sales & marketing tactics to drive success in retail
- Develop and execute the strategy to efficiently and effectively expand retail from 2 locations to hundreds, leading the build-out of the infrastructure to support the expansion
- Capture the synergies of having both a DTC and retail business such that both businesses benefit from the other
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 10+ years of experience in retail sales management
- Must have led significant sales teams, preferably retail sales teams that are geographically dispersed
- Experience in consumer or healthcare technology startups and omni-channel retail is a plus.
- Highly metrics-driven, having built up and optimized retail sales funnels and analytics
- Experience in starting & scaling “store in store” concepts is a major plus
- Needs to be comfortable in a fast-paced environment where resources are constrained and therefore creativity, tenacity and methodical, hands-on problem solving are a must

Salary: $130k-180k (commensurate with experience)
