The Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM), established in 1969, is a premier institution dedicated to advancing the field of aviation maintenance through exceptional education and training. Position Overview
As an Admissions Specialist, you will play a vital role within a dynamic, student-centered team dedicated to guiding prospective students through the enrollment journey. This position integrates consultative outreach, personalized advising, and diligent follow-up to ensure that students feel fully supported and informed as they explore their educational options with Cotulla.
Key Responsibilities

Proactively manage and respond to a high volume of enthusiastic inquiries from prospective students via phone and email.

Act as a primary point of contact for students by:

Conducting engaging phone consultations to assess students' goals and program fit.

Providing accurate and comprehensive information about Cotulla’s exciting programs.

Assisting students in navigating the enrollment process from inquiry to orientation with confidence.

Execute outreach campaigns to re-engage leads from interest forms, events, and information sessions, fostering enthusiasm.

Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system (CampusVue/CampusNexus or equivalent) to ensure organization.

Support prospective students in completing applications and preparing for their upcoming start dates.

Collaborate with the admissions team to achieve enrollment goals and optimize admissions processes, driving collective success.

Participate in team meetings and training sessions to remain informed about program offerings and compliance policies, ensuring excellence.

Foster a supportive and collaborative team environment that encourages growth and positivity.
Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred to enhance knowledge.

1–2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or consultative sales to effectively connect with future students.

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with prospective students.

Experience in higher education or a campus environment is advantageous, contributing to our vibrant team.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven, and compliance-oriented setting.

Exemplary integrity, professionalism, and goal orientation to inspire trust and confidence.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and CRM platforms to enhance operational efficiency.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, contributing to shared success.

Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings as necessary, to support our students.

This is a full time offering stability and opportunity.

Compensation: $22 per hour, recognizing your dedication and effort.

Work Environment: On-site with standard office conditions with occasional physical demands (e.g., sitting, standing, light lifting), ensuring a comfortable workspace.

You will work one of the following schedules as assigned by the supervisor:
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Monday–Thursday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM and Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
