POSITION PURPOSE
This position is responsible for assisting instructors in administrative tasks and for ensuring the classroom and labs are clean, prepared and ready for use.
JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist Program Coordinator and instructors with general office and administrative tasks including organization, maintenance, and inventory management of the lab, classroom, and toolroom areas.
• Follow all regulations applicable to each respective program (ex. Welding – AWS, Auto –
NATEF/ASE, HVAC – OSHA and EPA, etc.)
• Maintain a neat and orderly work environment, including ensuring equipment and tools are maintained properly.
• Assist in maintaining daily students’ daily attendance records in support of instructors and Program Coordinator.
• Notify the Program Coordinator of any current or potential issues which warrant attention.
• Attending in-service training as required.
• Perform and complete other tasks that may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Education
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must have education and/or professional experience in the trades related field.
Experience/Skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven, compliance-oriented educational environment.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and can multi-task and work well under pressure.
• Demonstrate a high level of integrity, strong work ethic, and professionalism.
• Persuasive and effective verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service in an educational setting.
• Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work independently and as a collaborative team member and have exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer skills are required with proficiency in MS Office applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams. CampusNexus experience a plus.
• Ability and willingness to work outside of regular work shifts, including evenings, overnights, and/or weekends as necessary or as requested by Supervisor.
• Ability and willingness to travel locally or overnight occasionally for business.
Work Schedule (Part time role)
- Monday - Thursday 5pm - 11pm
What We Offer
The compensation for this position ranges from $23-26/hr based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
