The Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM), established in 1969, is a premier institution dedicated to advancing the field of aviation maintenance through exceptional education and training. Compensation: $95,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors

Position Purpose
The Director of Admissions provides strategic leadership for the campus Admissions department to achieve enrollment goals while ensuring compliance with institutional policies, regulatory standards, and admissions best practices. This role oversees recruitment strategy, team performance, and operational effectiveness, using data-driven decision-making to enhance enrollment outcomes and the prospective student experience.
Based on demonstrated performance, this role may be designated as Senior or Master Campus Director of Enrollment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Enrollment Management

Develop and execute a comprehensive enrollment strategy aligned with institutional goals and market demand.

Analyze enrollment data and market trends to optimize recruitment efforts and improve conversion rates.

Manage the full inquiry-to-enrollment cycle, ensuring a seamless and student-centered experience.

Ensure all applicants meet admissions requirements, including documentation, testing, background checks, and interviews.
Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor, and develop the Enrollment team, including Assistant Directors, Representatives, and Reception staff.

Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate team members to drive performance and accountability.

Conduct regular team meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
Compliance & Operational Oversight

Ensure compliance with institutional policies, regulatory standards, and ethical admissions practices.

Oversee accurate and timely data entry in CampusNexus, including auditing required documentation and enrollment records.

Complete required reporting, including the Admissions section of the Weekly Executive Director’s Report.
Collaboration & Institutional Support

Partner with Financial Aid, Career Services, Program Coordinators, Registrar, and campus leadership to support student success.

Support diversity and inclusion initiatives through targeted outreach and recruitment efforts.

Oversee promotional materials and coordinate participation in career fairs and recruitment events.

Provide enrollment updates and strategic insight to the Campus Executive Director.
This role ensures the enrollment process effectively attracts and enrolls qualified students while supporting institutional growth and student success.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Marketing, or related field preferred)

5+ years of management or leadership experience with a proven record of driving team performance and achieving goals

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail

High level of integrity and professionalism

Excellent communication and persuasive skills with a student-focused approach

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends

Ability to thrive in a collaborative, performance-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications

Minimum two years of experience serving as a Director of Enrollment or Director of Admissions

Experience leading enrollment operations in a fast-paced, compliance-oriented environment

Experience with CampusNexus
