Aviator Nation is growing at an incredible rate and we are looking to expand our team with Spring and Summer Internships in Event Production!
All of our interns will have the ability to be directly involved with our growing event series in which we take the brand across America to the following but not limited events to name a few:
- BottleRock Music Festival (Napa, CA)
- La Onda Festival (Napa, CA)
- Windy City Smokeout (Chicago, IL)
- Palm Tree Festival Lake Tahoe (Lake Tahoe, CA)
- Outside Lands Music Festival (San Francisco, CA)

Event Production and Management Intern:
The Event Production and Management Intern will be assisting with strategic planning in all existing and new event-related tasks and projects to ensure all events and festivals are executed at the highest quality possible. The role will be on the ground at festivals and will directly support and report to Aviator Nation's Director of Events & Activations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre-Production:
- Assist with booth construction and design
- Ordering or picking up necessary props, supplies, and equipment
- Assist with merchandise planning and ordering
- Sorting and organizing merchandise and props
- Assist in the marketing of events via social and email marketing
- Assist with shipping festival merchandise and props
Event Production:
- Travel to and from event location
- Transports goods and equipment from Los Angeles to event location
- Construct activations on-site at festival
- Merchandise and manage inventory and pop-up shops
- On-site customer service and brand representation. Including retail sales, customer interaction, email collection, and brand exposure
Qualifications:
- Experience and interest in retail sales, merchandising, event production and management is encouraged
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Excellent management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- College degree preferred but not required based on applicable experience

- Ability to travel and work outside of normal business hours (extensive evening and weekend hours)
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Ability to lift and/or move packages up to 50 lbs, required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The work environment characterized here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. The noise level in the work environment is usually high.
- Valid Driver's License and proof of insurance
- Ability to operate large vehicles, tow trailer and drive extended distances preferred but not required
- Knowledge and experience using power tools and basic tools preferred but not required

Salary Range – California
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Aviator Nation includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. In addition, where a candidate falls within the disclosed range estimate may be dependent on the applicable geographic differential associated with the location in which the position may be filled.
A reasonable estimate of pay range is: $18- $19/hr
