The ideal candidate should have a solid background in Node.js and Angular development, with a strong focus on application security and identity management. A key aspect of this role involves leveraging AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and support the growth of less experienced team members through active mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full-Stack Development

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and product managers to build and maintain the Identity Management system.

  • Develop scalable, high-performance, and responsive applications. The primary stack includes Node.js/TypeScript on the backend and Angular on the frontend.  Additional work involves React, React Native, and other frameworks and languages.

  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.

2. AI-Assisted Development

  • Actively use AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools) to accelerate feature development, reduce boilerplate, and improve code consistency.

  • Leverage AI tools to assist in generating, reviewing, and refactoring code, while critically evaluating AI-generated output for correctness, security, and maintainability.

  • Integrate AI-assisted testing approaches, including generating test cases and using AI tools to identify edge cases and potential regressions.

  • Stay current with evolving AI development tools and help establish team best practices around their responsible and effective use.

3. Identity Management

  • Contribute to the design and development of identity and access management features, including user authentication, authorization, user profile management, PAM, custom workflows, provisioning, and compliance.

  • Ensure the security and privacy of user data, implementing best practices for identity protection.

4. Application Security

  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect against vulnerabilities and threats.

  • Conduct security reviews and participate in security testing to identify and address potential risks.

  • Stay up to date with the latest security trends and best practices.

5. Collaboration

  • Work closely with team members to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance code quality.

  • Actively mentor junior and mid-level developers through pair programming, code reviews, and structured knowledge-sharing sessions, with particular emphasis on guiding effective and responsible use of AI coding tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree[DR1]  in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Node.js and Angular development.

  • Familiarity with identity management concepts and principles.

  • Strong understanding of application security and best practices.

  • Proficiency in RESTful API design and development.

  • Experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

  • Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.

  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with authentication protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML).

  • Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS or Azure.

  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar, including the ability to critically evaluate and refine AI-generated code.

  • Experience using AI tools for automated test generation, code review assistance, or documentation.

  • Demonstrated experience mentoring less senior developers, including coaching on modern tooling and development workflows.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
