Your Impact
As the Senior BI Analyst, you will join forces across the finance organization and key business leaders to helping fuel strategic growth through data-driven insights and provide financial value-adds to the forefront of product delivery. You will champion tools like Adaptive Planning and Workday to elevate forecasting, headcount planning, and system connectivity—empowering Axon with the metrics and visibility needed to scale smart. From KPI dashboards to cross-functional modeling, your fingerprints will be all over the systems that power smarter, faster decisions. What You’ll Do
Location: Location: SF Bay Area, Scottsdale, AZ or Seattle, WA or Boston, MA or Atlanta, GA or Sterling, VA or Denver, CO
- Administer and maintain Adaptive Planning models, structures, and user access.
- Build and enhance assumptions, dimensions, and hierarchies to support planning needs.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for financial insights.
- Provide training and support to users across FP&A and business teams.
- Manage metadata updates and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Coordinate system integrations and upgrades with IT/Data teams.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning processes.
- Translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
- Lead process automation and drive system-enabled efficiencies.
- Convert financial, product-usage, and customer-lifecycle data into well-governed enterprise metrics that support self-service BI and advanced analytics.
- Build and deliver a high-performance BI dashboard that surfaces KPIs, cohort trends, and variance drivers, giving the team real-time visibility into key metrics and driving continuous improvement.
- Manage Adaptive Planning as a core system, handling ongoing processes, ensuring data accuracy, and establishing cross-system integrity
- Partner closely with FP&A and People Ops to analyze and forecast headcount, improving visibility and streamlining workforce planning through Workday-Adaptive integration
- Ad-hoc systems and financial analysis requests as needed
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve financial data integrity, BI system performance, and forecast quality across the organization
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, information systems, or data science
- 3-6 years of experience in business intelligence, data modeling, forecasting and business analytics in a dynamic environment, supporting both financial and operational decision makers
- Hands-on experience with Adaptive Planning and Workday, especially for headcount planning and financial forecasting
- SQL Database experience, Ability to both interpret & write complex data queries.
- Proven track record of owning projects and driving their completion cross functionally
- Experience driving process improvements focused on quality, timeliness and improved efficiency
- Ability to work independently with concern for quality and deadlines
- Proven history of driving process improvements that enhance speed, accuracy, and system scalability
- Experience with Snowflake, or similar cloud-based data platform
- Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills for frequent interaction with financial and non-financial business leaders
- Superb attention to detail, strong planning and organization skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
