Brief team/department description:
Azurity Pharmaceuticals is dedicated to providing unique, accessible, and high-quality medications to underserved patients. Our Supply Chain Operations team plays a critical role in this mission, ensuring the efficient and compliant flow of pharmaceutical products globally to benefit millions of patients. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to manage our global logistics and supply chain processes.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse material inventory and ensure timely delivery to sites as per partner criteria.
- Oversee the scheduling and global monitoring of all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Optimize shipping and delivery methods, including negotiating rates with carriers and evaluating vendor performance against quality standards.
- Ensure global compliance with customs and regulatory requirements for all pharmaceutical product import and export operations.
- Resolve late delivery claims and logistics issues through proactive investigation and collaboration with partners and stakeholders.
- Collect, analyze, and report on key supply chain data, including supplier performance, transportation costs, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation for FDA submissions and customs import declarations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 4-6 years of progressive experience in a global supply chain or logistics role, with at least 4 years specifically in supply chain operations.
- Import/Export Expertise: Proven experience with import and export regulations for pharmaceutical products, particularly within USA and EU markets, is required. Experience with other global markets is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and a strong understanding of Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
