Account Executive, International
Please Note: This is a remote position available in the state listed on this job. Additionally, employment with BambooHR is contingent on passing both a background and credit check.
Essential Job Duties
As an Account Executive at BambooHR, you’ll play an essential role in helping organizations around the world improve the way they work. You’ll guide prospective customers through the sales process—from the first conversation to a signed agreement—while showcasing how BambooHR helps businesses simplify HR and create better employee experiences.
Whether you’re newer in your sales career or bring years of SaaS experience, you’ll join a collaborative, high-performing team that values curiosity, growth, and customer connection.
You will:
- Own the Sales Cycle: Manage inbound and outbound opportunities through discovery, solution presentations, negotiation, and close.
- Build Relationships: Engage with HR and business leaders to understand their needs and demonstrate how BambooHR can help.
- Maintain a Healthy Pipeline: Use Salesforce and other tools to track activity, forecast accurately, and stay organized.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with sales development, marketing, and customer success teams to create a seamless experience for prospects and clients.
- Represent BambooHR with Integrity: Deliver authentic, consultative sales conversations that reflect our people-first values.
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- Experience: Prior B2B or SaaS sales experience as an AE, or similar client-facing role.
- Sales Skills: Strong communication, active listening, and the ability to align solutions with customer challenges.
- Technical Acumen: Comfortable learning and demonstrating software solutions; proficient in CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Drive & Resilience: Motivated by goals and excited by the opportunity to grow your career in sales.
- Collaboration: Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to share insights and support others.
- Coachability: Open to feedback and eager to continuously learn and improve.

Regional Coverage, Schedule and Role Levels
Regional Coverage & Schedule:
We operate across three distinct regions—APAC, Canada/LATAM, and EMEA—each maintaining comparable role expectations despite their unique working hours.
- EMEA: 5:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. MT (Monday–Friday)
- Canada/LATAM: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. MT (Monday–Friday)
- APAC: 12:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. MT (Monday–Thursday)
Role Levels
We're hiring across multiple experience levels:
- Account Executive 1 (1-2 years of selling experience)
- Account Executive 2 (2-3 years of selling experience,with some B2B SaaS exposure)
- Account Executive 3 (3-5 years of B2B SaaS selling experience)
- Sr. Account Executive (5+ years of B2B SaaS selling experience)
Each level aligns to different prospect company sizes, sales cycles and complexities.
