What We Are Looking For:
The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the processing of share-based awards and supporting the administration of the equity management system. This role also involves close collaboration with the accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to all financial regulations and SOX compliance. Additionally, this position will handle other internal projects as needed.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with management of the equity management software platform, including processing new awards, terminations, option exercises, RSU vesting events, etc.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual equity reconciliations, and quarterly and annual equity footnote disclosures.
- Prepare schedules and explanations to support flux analysis compared to prior periods and expectations.
- Coordinate with various finance teams to gather information for footnote disclosures.
- Aid in responding to audit requests, and working with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and processes.
- Perform other duties and tasks as required, including assisting with special projects.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or a related field required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Knowledge of US GAAP.
- Possess a positive attitude, attention to detail, strong organization and communication skills, as well desire for problem solving.
Bonus Points:
- Experience working in Netsuite, Workiva financial reporting software, and Shareworks equity compensation solutions a plus.
