About Our Program:
The North American Peak Achievement Athletics Internship Program is designed to give undergraduate & graduate students an opportunity to gain valuable work experience, to learn more about the business and their field of studies to be able to excel in your careers! Interns will have optional 60 – minute lunch & learns to give exposure to business initiatives and departments as well as mentors to help guide you through.
Mississauga, ON Program Timeline: Monday, May 4, 2026 – Friday, August 21, 2026 (16 weeks)
This internship will be up to 35 hours per week & hybrid with 2 days in office, 3 days remote.
To be eligible, you must be:
- Enrolled as a student at the Canadian post-secondary institution.
- A Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Completing a work-integrated learning component as part of their curriculum.

The Digital Intern is responsible for projects supporting the Direct-to-Consumer team. This role’s primary responsibility is to assist the DTC (bauer.com) team with their customer acquisition and retention efforts across multiple channels such as email, SMS, Meta Ads, Google Ads and the BAUER MVP Loyalty Program.
You will assist in executing campaigns across email, SMS, paid media, and the BAUER MVP Loyalty Program, while supporting SEO and GEO visibility efforts that ensure the brand performs well across both traditional search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms. Ultimately, this role is tasked to support with helping to drive website performance by increasing customer acquisition, retention and organic visibility.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Track data pertinent to the BAUER MVP Loyalty Program.
- Assist with the creation & QA of marketing emails & SMS messages.
- Leverage AI tools within Email Platform such as advanced/predictive analytics.
- Support paid media initiatives, including creative asset review, campaign strategy and performance reporting.
- Support GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) efforts by helping structure content for visibility across AI-powered search and discovery tools (e.g., featured answers, product summaries, and structured content).
- Leverage AI tools to assist with SEO workflows such as content ideation, meta data creation, internal linking suggestions, and performance analysis.
- Assist with website updates, including content changes, page builds, and QA.
- Pull insights and results for weekly and monthly reports across email, loyalty, paid media, and SEO channels.
- Assist the larger digital team with other requests. (analytics, merchandising)
What You Will Bring:
- Pursuing a degree in communication, business, marketing, or related field.
- Experience with an Email Service Provider(s) such as Klaviyo, Yotpo, Mailchimp, is preferred.
- Experience with Paid Media platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok, etc.)
- Familiarity with AI tools to support SEO tasks such as content optimization, SERP analysis, schema ideation, and search intent mapping.
- Interest or experience in GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)—optimizing content for AI-powered search, answer engines, and large language model visibility.
- Basic website development knowledge, such as HTML/CSS fundamentals and understanding of page structure, links, and forms.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush) is a plus.
- Shopify Experience preferred.
- E-commerce Experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Hockey fan or player preferred.
Pay Range: $19.00/hour - $24.00/hour CAD
