Job Summary
As BDA continues its digital transformation journey to support its growth trajectory, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing Technology to join our Marketing team. This role is crucial to driving our B2B marketing efforts and ensuring seamless integration between sales strategy and execution. This role requires a blend of marketing expertise, technological proficiency, and leadership skills to manage a team and collaborate with various departments. The Director of Marketing Technology will play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing technology landscape, driving innovation, and achieving key business objectives.
This Director is responsible for managing and supporting the selection, implementation, configuration, utilization, optimization, and support of all BDA marketing technology programs, channels, tools, and applications. This includes marketing automation (Salesforce MCAE), email marketing (Klaviyo), search engine marketing (Google Ads), search engine optimization (Google Search Console and SEMrush), and digital asset management (Bynder).
This person will leverage project management and business process improvement skills to collaborate across teams, to ensure all BDA marketing technology programs are driving revenue, profit, client, and employee satisfaction, as well as operational efficiencies.
In this role, the Director of Marketing Technology will also need to apply a variety of analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills to increase understanding and advocate for continued business optimizations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing technology strategy aligned with business goals.
• Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of marketing technology platforms (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, email marketing, analytics tools).
• Collaborate with marketing, IT, sales, and product development teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal use of technology solutions.
• Lead a team of marketing technologists, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing technology initiatives, using data to drive continuous improvement.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of marketing innovation.
• Ensure data privacy and security compliance in all marketing technology practices.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience (7 - 10+ years) and proficiency with Salesforce MCAE, email platforms, digital asset management systems, and analytics tools, a must.
• Proven experience in a marketing technology leadership role and managing a team.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and technology solutions.

We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $150,000. If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined based on factors that may include geographic location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any offer. In the spirit of pay transparency, the range listed is the full base salary range for the role and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth. The range listed is just one component of BDA’s total compensation and rewards programs, which includes: robust PTO; vacation, a paid volunteer day, holidays and summer Fridays, Benefits; medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, 401k; tuition reimbursement, mental health and financial wellness programs and professional development opportunities including tuition reimbursement.
