The Divisional Vice President for Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and guiding the sales operations of our organization. This individual will be a seasoned leader with a track record of success in leading larger organizations, demonstrating exceptional multitasking abilities, and possessing a strong vision for the future.

Location:

  • This role requires candidates to live within a reasonable commuting distance of one of our BDA office locations: Woodinville, WA; Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; Troy, MI; New York (Midtown Manhattan), NY or Indianapolis, IN.
  • The position follows a schedule of 4 days onsite and 1 day remote each week, and relocation or proximity to one of these offices is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue/gross margin targets.
  • Enhance Customer Partnership Health Scores to deliver and exceed Customer experience goals.
  • Support Budgeting, P&L, and DC goals thought intimate knowledge of account activities and business functions.
  • Lead and motivate a diverse team of Directors to drive performance excellence and exceed sales goals.
  • Provide clear direction, coaching, and mentorship to Directors to foster their professional growth and development.
  • Utilize strong business acumen to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop innovative sales strategies.
  • Articulate and communicate the company’s vision, goals, and strategies to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement within the sales organization.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making and drive competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in senior sales leadership roles, preferably in a fast-paced and competitive industry.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to see three years down the road and develop a clear vision for achieving long-term objectives.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, with a demonstrated ability to motivate, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate thoughts, strategies, and expectations clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize competing demands in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship development, critical thinking, and negotiation.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to driving performance excellence and achieving measurable results.

We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position is $200k to $250k. If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined based on factors that may include geographic location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any offer. In the spirit of pay transparency, the range listed is the full base salary range for the role and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth. The range listed is just one component of BDA’s total compensation and rewards programs, which includes: robust PTO; vacation, a paid volunteer day, holidays and summer Fridays, Benefits; medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, 401k; tuition reimbursement, mental health and financial wellness programs and professional development opportunities including tuition reimbursement. Certain revenue-generating positions may be eligible for incentive compensation.
