We are committed to your professional development. Whether your goal is to pursue your CPA, advance into a Senior Accountant role, or deepen your analytical expertise, we provide the mentorship and collaborative environment to help you build a long-term career lattice here. We value forward-thinking team players who bring diverse perspectives to our financial operations.

Location: Irvine, CA (Fully In-Office)

Compensation: $35.00 - $38.00 / hour

Job Type: Full-Time (Non-Exempt/Hourly)

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, priorities can shift rapidly based on reporting cycles, business demands, and strategic needs. Rather than following a rigid routine, you will balance core month-end duties with dynamic cross-departmental projects:

  • Core Accounting & Ledger Management

    • Prepare and post accurate general ledger journal entries and maintain subsidiary ledgers.

    • Execute timely balance sheet reconciliations across treasury, revenue, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, intercompany accounts, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilities.

    • Collect, analyze, and verify financial data to reflect the organization's financial standing accurately.

  • Reporting, Forecasting & Cash Management

    • Support the drafting of annual budgets, forecasting models, and expenditure tracking.

    • Assist in the preparation of executive-level financial reports, KPI scorecards, and regulatory statements.

    • Prepare cash flow summaries, treasury tracking, and rolling monthly cash flow projections.

  • Agile Operational Support & Ad-Hoc Projects

    • Partner with operations to calculate monthly commissions and resolve cross-functional billing or ledger questions.

    • Pivot between analytical deep-dives and urgent ad-hoc financial requests as operational needs evolve.

    • Support the accounting supervisor with administrative and clerical tasks to maintain smooth day-to-day workflow.

Who You Are

We value adaptability, a solutions-oriented mindset, and strong fundamental accounting knowledge:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Required).

  • Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on accounting experience in a professional office setting.

  • Adaptability & Drive: Proven ability to multitask, pivot quickly when priorities shift, and handle ad-hoc assignments with minimal ramp-up time.

  • Technical Fluency: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data organization) and a strong command of standard accounting principles.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Clear verbal and written communication skills with a forward-thinking, team-first attitude.

  • Work Environment Requirements: Ability to work in an indoor office environment, operate standard office hardware, sit or stand for extended periods, and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds using appropriate equipment.

Bonus Points (Great to Have)

  • Hands-on experience navigating NetSuite ERP.

  • Prior background in Big 4 or Mid-Tier public accounting.

  • Active CPA license or MBA in Accounting/Finance (or active pursuit thereof).

What We Offer

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage options.

  • Generous paid time off (PTO) and paid company holidays throughout the year.

  • A vibrant team culture featuring regular quarterly social events, team outings, and annual holiday parties.

  • 401(k) retirement savings plan options to support your long-term financial health.

  • Direct access to accounting leadership and ongoing exposure to complex financial cycles to help build your career foundation.

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion (including religious dress and grooming practices), sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and related medical conditions), gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, ancestry, age, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws.  We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations and to maintaining a workplace free from discrimination and retaliation.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
