Senior Director of Performance Marketing

What are we looking for?
As our Senior Director of Paid Social + TV, you’ll lead a team of seasoned marketers to manage and optimize some of the most important media investments in our portfolio. You’ll oversee multi-million-dollar budgets across paid social, streaming, and linear channels — with the goal of driving efficient acquisition, long-term brand growth, and global reach.
This is a high-impact leadership role for a strategic, analytically strong, and creatively curious marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
What will you do?
Media Strategy & Execution
- Lead paid social and TV (linear and streaming/CTV) strategy and execution across global markets.
- Develop and own full-funnel media strategies that balance performance and brand-building.
- Partner with Data Science, Analytics, and Channel Leads to optimize across channels and audiences.
Creative Performance & Feedback Loops
- Build strong feedback loops with Brand, Creative, and Content teams to drive high-performing, insight-informed ad creative.
- Use data to inform creative briefs, iteration cycles, and brand storytelling in social and TV assets.
- Partner with external agencies and in-house production to evolve campaign storytelling.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage and mentor a high-performing team of paid media experts — fostering growth and innovation.
- Set goals, provide coaching, and ensure operational excellence across campaign planning and delivery.
- Collaborate with regional teams to localize strategies while maintaining global consistency.
Budget Management & Financial Coordination
- Manage multi-million-dollar budgets with accountability for ROI, CAC, LTV, and payback windows.
- Partner with Finance and Accounting on invoicing, monthly pacing, and audits.
- Lead quarterly and annual planning cycles with data-backed recommendations.

Can I work remotely?
Yes. We operate on PST and candidates in any time zone are welcome to apply. We ask employees to travel to our San Jose, CA office up to three times per year plus one company-wide offsite to collaborate in person and strengthen working relationships. Travel expenses are covered and reasonable accommodations are made for those under unique circumstances who cannot travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 10–15+ years of media experience with deep expertise in both paid social (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) and TV (linear, streaming, or programmatic) on a global scale.
- Proven track record of managing large budgets and delivering against performance and brand goals.
- Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and developing direct reports.
- Excellent collaboration skills — especially with Finance, Creative, and Data.
- Fluency with marketing analytics, attribution, lift studies, MMM, and incrementality testing.
- Experience working in DTC, healthcare, or subscription models is a plus.
- Passion for mental health and making care more accessible to all.

The base salary range for this position is $225,000 - $260,000. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and the extensive benefits listed here (subject to eligibility requirements): Teladoc Health Benefits 2025. Total compensation is based on several factors – including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
