Role Summary
As a Live Ops Campaign Manager, you will play a central role in shaping and optimizing the player experience across the entire player lifecycle. You will own and optimize player journeys, promotions, events, feature launches, and experimentation initiatives designed to improve retention, engagement, conversion, and monetization.
Working closely with Product, BI, Design, QA, Engineering, and other Live Ops stakeholders, you will help deliver a best-in-class player experience through data-driven decision-making, continuous experimentation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Live Ops Campaign Manager, you will play a central role in shaping and optimizing the player experience across the entire player lifecycle. You will own and optimize player journeys, promotions, events, feature launches, and experimentation initiatives designed to improve retention, engagement, conversion, and monetization.
Working closely with Product, BI, Design, QA, Engineering, and other Live Ops stakeholders, you will help deliver a best-in-class player experience through data-driven decision-making, continuous experimentation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and steer promotional, retention, and engagement strategies that balance player expectations with business objectives.
- Own and optimize player journeys across onboarding, retention, reactivation, feature adoption, and lifecycle progression.
- Lead the day-to-day execution of offers, campaigns, events, and Live Ops initiatives, ensuring strong performance against business targets.
- Drive the rollout of campaigns, journeys, communications, product features, and Live Ops mechanics in line with quarterly plans.
- Build and execute A/B testing and experimentation roadmaps focused on improving retention, engagement, conversion, and monetization.
- Monitor KPI performance, identify opportunities and performance gaps, and proactively drive optimization initiatives.
- Support the launch and optimization of new product features, events, challenges, missions, and player-facing experiences.
- Deliver personalized player experiences through journeys, features, communications, and segmentation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Product, BI, Design, QA, Engineering, and Live Ops teams to identify and implement improvements.
- Translate player behaviour insights into product, journey, and operational recommendations.
- Work closely with the Head of Live Ops to align strategy, report results, and share insights with the wider organization.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution, measurement, and post-launch optimization.
- Share learnings, propose improvements, and champion a test-and-learn culture across the team.
Requirements:
- Experience in Live Ops, mobile gaming, social casino, online casino, real-money gaming, or similar player engagement environments.
- Strong understanding of player lifecycle management, retention, engagement, and conversion mechanics.
- Experience designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests and experimentation programs.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-first mindset and the ability to make decisions based on performance metrics.
- Ability to identify player experience opportunities and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, BI, Design, QA, Engineering, and Operations teams.
- Strong understanding of mobile products and player behaviour.
- Comfortable taking calculated risks, testing new ideas, and communicating learnings effectively.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of product, commercial, operational, and marketing principles.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with Smartico or similar player engagement, CRM, and Live Ops platforms.
- Experience working with Live Ops systems, personalization engines, CRM platforms, or player engagement tools.
- Experience launching new features, events, challenges, missions, or progression systems.
- Familiarity with segmentation, player value models, retention frameworks, and player lifecycle optimization.
