About the role:
We are looking for a Social Media & Content Manager to join our growing Marketing team, reporting directly to the Head of Social Media. While the Head of Social Media owns the overarching strategy and direction, you will be their right hand in executing it — bringing the content machine to life, driving audience growth, and turning big brand ideas into scroll-stopping, platform-native content every single day. You will work at the intersection of creative production, brand storytelling, and performance analytics. You are a strong executor who can also think strategically - contributing to how the strategy evolves, flagging what the data is telling us, and bringing ideas that make the overall programme stronger. You are data-informed, creatively driven, and genuinely excited about community building. You operate like an owner: proactive, accountable, and motivated by outcomes - not just activity.
What you will do:
- Manage day-to-day publishing, community management, and performance across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Actively engage with followers, partners, and community members through comments, DMs, and social listening to build a connected, loyal audience.
- Engagement with comments under the organic posts and brand‑to‑brand engagement (responding to other brands’ posts to spark conversation).
- Monitor brand sentiment and escalate potential issues, misinformation, or community concerns to leadership and CS.
- Script, shoot, direct, and edit short-form video content: talking heads, screen-records, carousels, simple explainers, customer highlights, and UGC-style clips.
- Develop and manage an asset bank for social-first creative, continuously testing and iterating on formats.
- Paid Social Coordination: Collaborate with the paid media team to align social media strategies, ensuring consistent messaging and creative cohesion.
- Support influencer programming end-to-end: identification, outreach, briefing, sampling, content review, approvals, reporting, and relationship management.
- Partner with PR on integrated influencer campaigns; contribute to decisions around paid amplification and influencer A/B testing.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of experience managing and creating content for social media for consumer brands.
- Proven track record of growing and engaging audiences on at least two of: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, or YouTube.
- Experience managing influencer programs from start to finish, including identification, briefing, contracting, and performance reporting.
- Background collaborating cross-functionally with creative, marketing, PR, and paid media teams.
- University or college degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
What we offer:
- Discretionary bonus
- Premium Health insurance
- Career and skills development opportunities
- Fun and collaborative team environment
- Exclusive employee discounts and perks through Perkopolis
The salary range for this role is CAD 90,000 to CAD 110,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications and location. Final compensation will be determined based on job related skills and business needs.
