Responsibilities

• Lead environmental investigations, including Phase I/II ESAs, wetland delineations, species assessments, and ecological field studies.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring quality, compliance, schedules, and budgets.
• Review environmental data, reports, and permits; provide regulatory guidance for federal, state, and local requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and client communications.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies on permitting and compliance.
• Mentor junior scientists and support team collaboration across disciplines.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Conduct fieldwork and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Geology, or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience (ESA Phase I/II, wetlands, species permitting, ecological surveys).
• Strong technical and business‑writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or on a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ArcGIS knowledge or interest preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and client‑service orientation.
• Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork.
